Adopt-a-Pug Monday: Poppy in Wichita, Kansas
“POPPY is a wonderful little Pug puppy, who came to us with a broken paw; his cast is now off. His foot has healed and he is having a blast playing with the other puppies in his foster home. He is about 20 weeks old now and ready for his new Pug friendly home. He should be a normal size Pug when he grows up. Poppy is in a foster home in Wichita, Kansas and will not be shipped. Requirements to adopt Poppy are as follows: His adopter will have to be in the Wichita Metro area or surrounding area; no out-of-state adopters because we need to do a home visit. A secure fenced yard is a must. A veterinarian reference is required showing that your present/past pets are up-to-date on shots, spayed/neutered and on heartworm prevention. His adoption fee is $100.00. For information on how to apply to adopt Poppy, please go to our website www.palsrescue.org”

Adopt-a-Pug Monday: Otis from New York
“Adoption fee…150.00 .. Otis, 7.5 yr old male, came into my rescue with his brother Oliver due to the families lack of time. The pair were kept downstairs in a large room alone with food, water and pee pads. They were not let outside for fear of them getting ill. Both are happy fellas with their tails wagging all the time. Good with dogs, cats and kids! They are the sweetest pair you will meet. Otis has seen my vet for a physical exam, shots, heart worm tests and fecals. He is in great health other then a case of dry eye that was never taken care of and left him with limited vision…he gets drops in each eye 2x daily. He can see and does get around quite well… He is house broken and is crate trained. He hasn’t had an accident in quite a while but did have some in the beginning which is common for a dog in a new home. Otis doesn’t really have a bark..it is more of a woo-woo which he is very happy to do for you when you arrive home from work letting you know how very happy he is to see you. I would love to see Otis and Oliver go to a home together but it is not necessary. if interested in adopting Otis you can contact me at Email: tinaf0807@gmail.com for an application”

ADOPT-A-PUG MONDAY!!! Rolo from Orlando, Florida:
Name: Rolo
Age: 2 to 3 years
Weight: 17 lbs
Likes: Playing chase or tug of war with my toys Currently fostered in Orlando Adopt fee: $300 This is the new love of my life, Rolo. He came out of a shelter with no name so we named him Rolo (like the Candy) because he is so sweet. The name suits him to a T. Rolo is great now, but after the shelter messed up his neuter surgery, it was pretty rough going for awhile. We ended up having to take him to an emergency clinic. Then he spent 5 days hospitalized at our vets office and had two corrective surgeries. The good news is: Hes fine now, happy as a clam and ready to be adopted. The bad news is: It cost Pug Rescue over a $1,000 to save him. Needless to say, we think he was worth every penny. Now all we need to do for this boy is find him the forever home he deserves. We think Rolo will fit in anywhere he can get and give love. He is very laid back and gets along with everyone. He is potty trained, loves to snuggle in bed at night, and rides well in the car. He will lay by you while you are on the computer or help you exercise with a good game of try to get my toy if you can. He is playful but not hyper at all .just an all around good guy. If you think you are the perfect match for this sweet pug boy, please send your application today to adopt him. If you love him but cant adopt him right now, please send a donation in his honor to help us pay for some of the medical expenses we incurred saving this sweetheart. My Rescue friends are busy trying to find me and my otherfoster friends new homes, so please submit an application before contacting them about me. Adopt-a-Pug Monday: Gizmo in Winnepeg, MB
“Gizmo is a 4 1/2 year old fawn pug who comes to us by owner surrender. His former owner was experiencing problems with him having accidents in the house and did not wish to keep him. Upon examination by our vet, it was discovered that Gizmo had the beginnings of a bladder infection and he is currently on antibiotics to treat this. His foster family is happy to report that Gizmo has no problems with housebreaking and asks to go outside!
Gizmo is an adorable little guy. When he came to us, he was a little on the thin side, but some good food and TLC have seen him rise to a healthy weight and he looks great! He gets along well with other dogs and is good with cats. He is also experienced with children. He is a gentle, loving dog who would love to join a family of his own.Gizmo’s adoption fee is $400. If you are interested in being considered for adoption, please visit our website at www.bostonpugrescuemb.com and read through our ‘Adopting A Dog’ section.”

Hey guys - I got a question from trust-fall wondering whether there are any pug adoption/rescues in Europe?? Specifically near Germany or France? I have no idea and a quick google search didn’t help, so if anyone is knowledgeable, pleeeease answer in this post! From what I’ve heard, there aren’t many rescues in Europe, but I’m definitely not an expert..
Anyone have advice for her?
